Kids Come Free

Since 1998, Woodminster Summer Musicals has offered free tickets to children and teens 16 and younger who are accompanying paying adults to any performance. These tickets are not reserved in advance; you should present your adult ticket at the box office after 5:30 p.m. on the night of the performance and you will receive a free child's ticket as close to your adult ticket as possible. Or to guarantee that your tickets will be together, purchase your adult ticket on the night of the performance. One free child's ticket will be issued for each adult ticket. If the adult tickets were purchased with a group rate, a free child's ticket will be issued per TWO adult tickets.

Other special programs for local young people:
Technical Theater
Producers Associates employs young people, mostly local high school students, to work on the technical crews of the shows. As interns, they are paid a stipend to work under a professional stage manager and receive valuable real-world experience and training.

Performance
For musicals that include children's roles, local children and teenagers are encouraged to audition. If cast, they will perform alongside professional actors and have experiences they will never forget.
