Since 1998, Woodminster Summer Musicals has offered free tickets to children and teens 16 and younger who are accompanying paying adults to any performance. These tickets are not reserved in advance; you should present your adult ticket at the box office after 5:30 p.m. on the night of the performance and you will receive a free child's ticket as close to your adult ticket as possible. Or to guarantee that your tickets will be together, purchase your adult ticket on the night of the performance. One free child's ticket will be issued for each adult ticket. If the adult tickets were purchased with a group rate, a free child's ticket will be issued per TWO adult tickets. No Kids Come Free tickets on $15 Preview nights.

For your convenience, we are now offering "early reserve" Kids Come Free tickets. Call the box office during the week of the performance you want to attend, purchase your adult tickets and tell us you want Kids Come Free seats. We'll hold your tickets at the box office until performance night, and guarantee all your seats will be together.

Unfortunately, because of the relatively limited seating available at Holy Names University's Regents' Theatre, we are unable to offer Kids Come Free for the spring show. All three summer shows at Woodminster Amphitheater, however, are eligible for Kids Come Free.

Other special programs for local young people:
Technical Theater
Producers Associates employs young people, mostly local high school students, to work on the technical crews of the shows. As interns, they are each paid a stipend to work under a professional stage manager and receive valuable real-world experience and training. The 2013 internships will be filled after April 1, and this year will include backstage crew, costume shop, and concession stand workers.

Performance
For musicals that include children's roles, local children and teenagers are encouraged to audition. If cast, they will perform alongside professional actors and have experiences they will never forget.
