Producing any kind of live theater is expensive, and producing live musical theater is very expensive.
The costs of royalties and rentals, salaries and stipends, sets, costumes, props, lighting, programs and brochures, advertising, and Internet seem to get higher every year. We want Woodminster to continue to be an affordable family outing, and we have been able to keep ticket prices stable because of our many individual donors, along with corporations, foundations, and other organizations. Here, you will see the organizations that are supporting Woodminster Summer Musicals in 2018. Kids Come Free Sponsors
Since 1989, Woodminster Summer Musicals has offered free tickets to children and teens 16 and younger who are accompanying paying adults to any performance. Many of us found our love of live theater as children, and we want to offer the same experience to future generations. We want live theater to be affordable for all the families in our community who want to attend, and we are very grateful to the generous donors who make this valuable program possible.

Drawing Prize Donations
One of our important fundraising traditions is our intermission prize draws. Before each performance, board members and volunteers sell drawing tickets to picnickers and arriving audience, and during intermission, we draw numbers and lucky audience members win prizes donated by local businesses.
