Ticket Information

If you had season tickets in 2017, you received a renewal order form in the mail around the first of December.  To renew your season tickets and get the same seats as last year (or to change your seats), fill out the form and send it in with payment by February 1.  After that deadline, new season tickets and single show tickets, group tickets, and K75 tickets will be available.

 

This year, we're delighted to announce we're improving our online ticketing system, and we'll be able to offer you a lot more flexibility in seat selection as well as streamlining the process on our end for greater efficiency and accuracy.  Because of this, we can't yet announce a date when online ticket purchases will be available.  Check back for updates, and meanwhile you can buy tickets by phone or mail after February 1.

 

You may purchase gift certificates now, though, and those may be redeemed for tickets after that February deadline has passed.  To purchase gift certificates, please email Harriet or call her at 510-339-0241.

Availability

Tickets may be purchased by phone, by mail, online later this spring, or in person after June 1.  The earlier you purchase, the better your seats will be.  But if you don’t like planning too far in advance, no worries.  It’s a large amphitheater, and there are always tickets available the night of the performance.

 

Performances

Each production has 7 performances over two consecutive weekends.  All performances start at 8 pm, except in September, when regular performances on Thursday and Sunday, begin at 7 pm.  (Friday and Saturday performances are at 8 pm throughout the season.)

 

Box Office Hours

You may purchase tickets in person or by phone (510-531-9597) during our regular box office hours, 11-4 Monday through Friday after June 1, and 7 days a week after July 1.  These hours apply to  lower box office, at the backstage door of the amphitheater off parking lot 1.  If you wish to purchase tickets by phone before June 1, please call Harriet at 510-339-0241.

 

You may also purchase tickets in person at the upper box office, at the main gate to the theater, 2 hours before any performance.

 

Online Tickets Purchasing

Once we have our new system in place, online ticket purchasing will be available 24 hours a day.  Check back for start date for online ticket purchasing.  Once the ordering system is live, you'll be able to use it to purchase season tickets and single tickets, including K75 tickets.

 

If you have any questions at all, please use the telephone or in-person option instead so a human box office staff member can help you personally.

Picnic Table Reservations

There are a limited number of picnic tables inside the amphitheater itself, which you may reserve in advance for $10 per table.  (Minimum number of tickets purchased may apply.) Order form for picnic tables.  Picnic tables inside the amphitheater map

 

There are also many picnic tables in Joaquin Miller Park along the approach to the amphitheater and around the parking lots, which may be used for free on a first-come, first-served basis.  Many patrons also enjoy a picnic dinner on the stone benches along the cascades behind the amphitheater.  And you are welcome to eat or drink anything you like in your seats in the amphitheater.
