Ticket availability for 2017 season:
December 1 -- Season Ticket Renewals & Gift Certificates
February 1 -- Orders for new season tickets and tickets to single shows will be filled in the order they arrived
March 15 -- Online ticket ordering available
Tickets may be purchased online, by phone, by mail, or in person. The earlier you purchase, the better your seats will be. But if you don’t like planning too far in advance, no worries. It’s a large amphitheater, and there are always tickets available the night of the performance. The final dress rehearsal of each show is open to the public ($20 per ticket), but those tickets cannot be purchased in advance and are only available after 7 pm on the night of the dress rehearsal.
Each production has 7 regular performances over two consecutive weekends. All performances start at 8 pm, except in September, when regular performances on Thursday and Sunday, begin at 7 pm. (Friday and Saturday performances are at 8 pm throughout the season.)
Box Office Hours
You may purchase tickets in person or by phone (510-531-9597) during our regular box office hours, 11-4 Monday through Friday after June 1, same hours 7 days a week after July 1. These hours apply to lower box office, at the backstage door of the amphitheater off parking lot 1.
You may also purchase tickets in person at the upper box office, at the main gate to the theater, 2 hours before any performance.

Other Ways to Buy Tickets
Online ticket purchasing is available 24 hours a day after March 15.
If you want to sit in a particular location, or the performance appears to be sold out on the online site, please use the telephone or in-person option instead so a human box office staff member can help you personally. Online tickets sales at Woodminster, as in many theaters, are from specific blocks of seats, and you will have more options if you talk with us directly.
You may also purchase tickets by mail. Orders will be filled in the order they are received.

Picnic Table Reservations
There are a limited number of picnic tables inside the amphitheater itself, which you may reserve in advance for $10 per table. (Minimum number of tickets purchased may apply.)
There are also many picnic tables in Joaquin Miller Park along the approach to the amphitheater and around the parking lots, which may be used on a first-come, first-served basis. Many patrons also enjoy a picnic dinner on the stone benches along the cascades behind the amphitheater. And you are welcome to eat or drink anything you like in your seats in the amphitheater.
